The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) annual meeting occurs each spring and has a primary objective of facilitating and supporting oncology pharmacists by enhancing clinical and professional education on the latest developments in clinical trials, therapeutic regimens, treatment guidelines, and emerging technologies from HOPA.
The Quebec Oncology Pharmacists Partnership Program is an annual educational event focused on taking the most significant hematology/oncology pharmacy data presented at the yearly Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) conference and putting the info into context exclusively for oncology pharmacists in Quebec. Nine speakers and over 104 participants from 27 different Quebec oncology centres attended the inaugural program held in Montreal and live streamed across the province. The program is developed by an independent steering committee of 3 - 4 Quebec-based oncology pharmacists and is not affiliated with HOPA.
